Inter- factional group “Equal opportunities” was created in Zaporizhzhya regional Council

On the 31st of March, in the Zaporizhzhya regional Council was created inter-factional deputy group “Equal opportunities”, which included women-deputies from different political parties. The representatives of the group are Tetiana Kovylina(Chairman of the group, independent), Yulia Kovalevska (Opposition bloc), Olena Klimchenko (“Samopomich”), Irina Maksimova (“Samopomich”), Svitlana Abdurahmanova (“Opposition bloc”). The participants of the group plan to solve issues of gender equality, development of women’s initiatives, increase the activity of women leaders. They also plan to cooperate with the women deputies of city and district councils of the region. The group is open to the membership of women and men.
